Abi and Sean’s Wedding at Piper Palm House and Olive & Oak in St. Louis

I am beyond excited to share the beautiful wedding of Abi and Sean, an event that showcased everything I love about capturing love stories. This day was filled with genuine moments, laughter, and a stop at 7-Eleven that became an unexpected highlight!

The Venues: Piper Palm House and Olive & Oak in St. Louis

Abi and Sean chose two stunning venues for their special day: Piper Palm House for the ceremony and Olive & Oak for the reception. Both locations provided the perfect backdrop for a wedding that was both intimate and grand, comfortable yet elegant.

These two began their day getting ready at separate Airbnbs, building the anticipation for their first look. The air was filled with excitement and a few nervous jitters, which is always so endearing to capture! Their first look was definitely one for the books. The emotional exchange of private vows added a deeply personal touch to their wedding, making it incredibly special and heartfelt.

The ceremony itself was a blend of tradition and personal flair. It was clear that the focus was on the marriage, not just the wedding. The love and commitment they shared radiated throughout the venue, leaving everyone in awe.

Post-ceremony, we took some family photos before heading out for a quick 7-Eleven run. Yes, you read that right! Abi mentioned how this stop was “so Sarah Kellie branded,” and I couldn’t agree more. It was spontaneous, fun, and very much became one of my favorite wedding-day stops ever. Here’s to more couples taking time out of their day to do something fun, just the two of them!

The cocktail hour and reception at Olive & Oak were filled with delicious food, music by Rockstar DJ, and an atmosphere of pure joy. Abi and Sean’s personalities shone through every detail, from the décor to the dessert provided by Damn Fine Hand Pies.
