Kayla & Hannah’s Vintage Car & Record Store LGBTQ+ Engagement in St. Louis

This fall engagement session in St. Louis with Kayla and Hannah had such a personal, playful vibe. We kept things simple and true to them, a local park with golden trees, a vintage car that holds meaning, and one of their favorite hangout spots: The Record Exchange. This LGBTQ+ engagement in St. Louis was all about real connection and real memories, no forced poses, just the two of them being completely themselves. They met on Tinder (still makes them laugh), and since that first date, they’ve been inseparable. Thrifting, spinning records, and hanging out with their three pups, that’s their version of everyday magic. And it was so fun to bring all of that into this shoot.

Golden Leaves & The Camaro

We started in a quiet park while the leaves were peaking. The colors were unreal, deep reds, bright yellows, just enough chill in the air to feel like fall. Kayla brought her dad’s classic blue Camaro, which added the coolest retro touch. It felt like a little slice of their story, something personal and meaningful. They leaned into each other, wrapped up in coats, kissed on the hood of the car, and made it all look effortless. The light was soft, the energy was calm, and every frame felt like them.

Celebrating Their Engagement With Champagne

After some cozy shots with the car, we moved over to a stone bridge for a quick outfit change and a bottle of champagne. Hannah’s camel coat was the perfect fall layer, and they brought a bottle labeled “I Said Yes!” such a cute little detail. They popped the bottle, sprayed champagne in the air, and sipped it straight from the bottle. It was spontaneous, a little chaotic, and so full of joy. The kind of moment you don’t plan you just let it happen!

Retro Romance at The Record Exchange

To finish the night, we stopped by The Record Exchange in St. Louis, one of their favorite date spots. It’s packed with vinyl, has checkerboard floors, and glows with the coziest neon light. It felt like stepping into a time capsule. Kayla and Hannah flipped through records, danced in the aisles, and kissed under the “CASSETTES” sign. They were totally in their element, and it made the whole vibe feel effortless. Like we weren’t shooting, we were just hanging out.
