If you’re looking for a downtown St. Louis wedding venue that’s effortlessly stylish, versatile, and photogenic from every angle, a 612North wedding should be at the top of your list! Located in the historic Cutlery Building right along the Mississippi River, 612North brings together the beauty of exposed brick and vintage architecture with sleek, modern updates and stunning city views. This blog breaks down everything you need to know about getting married at 612North, plus a peek at one dreamy real wedding day to help you picture it all coming together!
Getting Ready & Photos Nearby
This couple got ready at the Four Seasons St. Louis, which has beautiful natural light and views of the Arch perfect for those editorial getting-ready moments. For creative portraits, we made a quick stop at Lafayette Park. One of the most peaceful green spaces in the city with tree-lined paths and romantic garden backdrops. Then we headed to 612North for the rest of the celebration, cocktails, dinner, dancing, and lots of champagne toasts!
Where It’s Located
612North is tucked into Laclede’s Landing, just north of the Gateway Arch. This location is perfect for out-of-town guests who want to stay close to downtown (think Four Seasons, Hyatt, and boutique hotels). And it’s within walking distance to some of the best restaurants, bars, and photo ops in the city! Pro tip: There’s ample nearby parking and easy vendor access. Which is not always a given for city venues, this is a huge win!!
The Event Spaces at 612North
One of the biggest perks of a 612North wedding is the choice of three distinct spaces, each with its own vibe:
The Haight: Cozy, moody, and full of vintage beauty. This is perfect for intimate celebrations or cocktail hours!
The Cutlery: This space features arched windows, exposed brick, and dreamy golden light, this one’s a fave for ceremonies or full reception layouts.
The VUE: The most modern space, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows, a clean layout, and a stunning view of the Arch.
Each room is customizable, and you can mix-and-match for ceremony + reception flow. The venue team helps with floor plans, timeline logistics, and vendor coordination to keep everything smooth from start to finish!
Styling a 612North Wedding
You don’t need to over-style this venue. The architecture does the work for you. Whether you lean minimal and modern or romantic and floral-heavy. 612North’s clean lines and warm textures make it easy to bring your vision to life. In this real wedding, the couple opted for a soft palette of ivory and greenery. The tables were kept simple with neutral linens, floating candles, and white blooms, letting the exposed brick walls and tall windows shine in every photo. Their cake? Retro and playful with just the right touch of personality.
