This St. Louis Engagement Session with Gabrielle and Eli was the perfect mix of calm, editorial park moments and fun, candid chaos, in the best way! We started at Tower Grove Park during golden hour, when the light is soft and everything feels a little dreamy, then wrapped things up at Up-Down Bar, a spot that’s been part of their story since their very first date. The whole session felt effortless, personal, and so them, no overthinking, just good vibes and genuine connection!

Golden Hour at Tower Grove Park

Tower Grove Park is always a win, but this evening hit different. The lush greenery, tall banana leaves, and warm light gave us that natural, editorial feel without trying too hard. Gabrielle and Eli were relaxed, close, and fully in the moment, lots of forehead kisses, quiet laughs, and those in-between glances that say everything. It felt romantic but not overly posed, more like a slow walk through the park together than a traditional photo session. Simple, intentional, and really easy to sink into.

Where It All Began: Up-Down Bar

Switching things up at Up-Down Bar was such a full-circle moment for these two. Barcades are kind of their thing, date nights, travel stops, and now engagement photos, so this part of the session felt extra meaningful. From arcade games to skee-ball to grabbing drinks together, everything was playful and unfiltered. The flash, movement, and energy brought a totally different vibe than the park, but it worked so well. It felt like tagging along on a real date night, camera and all.
