Elegant Fall Wedding at Knotting Hills | Megan & Tyler’s Garden Ceremony

Elegant Fall Wedding at Knotting Hills | Megan & Tyler’s Garden Ceremony

Megan & Tyler’s fall wedding at Knotting Hills was one of those days that just felt easy in the best way. It had that crisp fall air, deep seasonal colors, and such a good mix of elegance and fun. Knotting Hills is always a favorite of mine, and this day reminded me why I love photographing there so much. Everything happened in one place, which made the whole day feel smooth and relaxed!

Getting Ready at Knotting Hills

Because everything was onsite at Knotting Hills, the morning felt calm from the start. Megan and her girls got ready in the bridal suite, laughing, hanging out, and actually enjoying the process instead of rushing through it. One thing I really loved? Megan added an extra hour of coverage, even though she didn’t technically need it since everything was in one spot. She just wanted space in the timeline to breathe, and honestly… that makes such a difference. Her bridesmaids wore cabernet dresses, a deep burgundy that looked SO good for November. It was rich, modern, and elegant without trying too hard. The fall color palette felt elevated but still warm!

Fall Wedding at Knotting Hills Garden Ceremony

Their ceremony took place in the garden at Knotting Hills, and it’s such a beautiful setting. The greenery paired with the subtle fall colors in the trees made everything feel clean and classic. If you’re planning a Fall Wedding at Knotting Hills, this garden space is truly such a good option. Tank (their dog!) made an appearance for photos, which instantly makes any wedding better in my opinion. It’s always fun when couples bring in something personal like that. It keeps the day feeling like them. Megan being an only child made certain moments extra meaningful, especially with her parents. You could tell how close they are, and that emotion carried through the whole ceremony.

Portraits Around Knotting Hills

Knotting Hills gives you so many portrait options without ever having to leave the property. The architecture, the garden spaces, the open grounds, it all works so well together. Megan’s gown was timeless and structured in such a clean way, and against the fall backdrop it just popped. The cabernet bridesmaid dresses looked incredible in photos, especially lined up against the greenery. Everything felt polished but still natural!

Fun & Lively Reception at Knotting Hills

The reception inside the main venue had that upscale rustic feel Knotting Hills does so well. Warm lighting, deep colors, and a dance floor that did not stay empty for long. One of the sweetest moments of the night was Megan surprising her mom with a dance. It completely caught her off guard and was so genuine. You could feel how much it meant to both of them. And then they switched gears with a super fun t-shirt toss that had everyone hyped. It was chaotic in the best way. I love when couples mix elegant moments with playful ones, it makes the day feel real and not overly staged.
