Romantic Knotting Hills Wedding with Timeless Black & White Details

Romantic Knotting Hills Wedding with Timeless Black & White Details

Audrey and Austin’s romantic Knotting Hills wedding felt like the perfect mix of elegant and genuinely fun. After 10 years together, these two were clearly ready to celebrate this next chapter with the people who have been alongside them through it all. The whole day had such a timeless black-and-white vibe, from the chic details to the classic bridal look, but nothing about it felt overly serious. It felt warm, relaxed, and honestly just like one giant celebration with their favorite people. Between the emotional first look, the dreamy fall light around Knotting Hills, and the packed dance floor later in the night, this wedding was such a good reminder that the best weddings are the ones where everyone is fully present and having a really good time together!

Getting Ready at Knotting Hills

The morning started with some of my favorite detail photos from the day. Audrey’s bridal details were styled around the water at Knotting Hills, and the reflections from the pool gave everything such a soft, editorial feel. Her invitation suite, rings, perfume, and shoes all tied into the timeless black-and-white aesthetic perfectly. I also loved the little personal touches throughout the details, especially Austin’s baseball glove worked into the flat lays. It added such a fun and personal touch to an otherwise super classic wedding style.

Inside the bridal suite, the energy was calm but excited. Audrey spent the morning with her bridesmaids and family sipping champagne, laughing on the couches, and soaking in every second before the ceremony. Everyone wore black pajamas while Audrey wore a delicate white set, which looked so clean and timeless in photos. Once it was time to get into her dress, the mood shifted in the sweetest way. Her mom helping button the back of her gown felt emotional without feeling overly dramatic, just one of those quiet moments that makes a wedding day feel really meaningful.

Audrey & Austin’s Romantic Knotting Hills Wedding First Look

Austin’s reaction during their first look was honestly so sweet. You could instantly tell how much this moment meant after being together for a decade. The waterfall area at Knotting Hills made the perfect backdrop too, all the stone textures, fall trees, and flowing water gave everything such a romantic feel without feeling overdone. Audrey walked up behind him smiling so big, and the second he turned around, you could see all the emotions hit him at once.

After the first look, we wandered around the grounds for portraits while the late afternoon light started peeking through the trees. Their portraits felt effortless because these two are just genuinely comfortable together. Nothing felt stiff or overly posed. They were laughing, fixing each other’s outfits, sneaking little kisses, and honestly just enjoying finally being married. Audrey’s dress moved so beautifully in the wind too, especially with the veil catching the light around them.

Romantic Knotting Hills Wedding Ceremony

Their ceremony space at Knotting Hills was so pretty in the fall. The black ceremony chairs, iron gazebo, and surrounding greenery gave everything a really elegant look while still feeling cozy and intimate. As guests filled in, the whole space started glowing with that soft golden evening light that makes everything feel extra romantic.

One of my favorite things about Audrey and Austin’s wedding was how centered the whole day felt around connection and celebration. You could tell every person there genuinely knew and loved them deeply. The ceremony itself felt emotional but also really joyful, which matched their personalities perfectly. After 10 years together, there was this sense of excitement and comfort all at once, like everyone knew this day had been a long time coming in the best way!

Reception Details & The Dance Floor

The reception carried the black-and-white aesthetic into the evening so beautifully. The simple white cake with black ribbon bows was one of my favorite details because it felt timeless and modern at the same time. Knotting Hills looked especially pretty once the sun went down too, especially with the water reflecting all the lights around the reception space.

Once the dancing started, the energy completely shifted into full celebration mode. Audrey and Austin were out on the dance floor nonstop, and honestly so were all of their guests. People were twirling napkins in the air, singing every lyric, and pulling each other onto the dance floor all night long. It never felt overly formal or staged, it just felt like everyone was genuinely happy to be there celebrating these two. After 10 years together, this wedding felt less like a formal event and more like the best kind of party with all of their favorite people in one place.
